Moroccan Man Faces Third Trial for 2018 Avignon Parking Lot Murder

Youness Ibrahimi-Idrissi will appear for the third time before an assize court. This time, he is accused of having killed with a firearm Junior Brei in the parking lot of a residence on Avenue du Blanchissage in Avignon, on July 23, 2018. The accused claims his innocence.
Previously convicted and then acquitted for armed robbery, Youness Ibrahimi-Idrissi is appearing for murder charges before the Vaucluse Assize Court. At the age of 40 and of Moroccan origin, he is accused of having killed with a firearm Junior Brei on July 23, 2018, a date on which the victim and he, who knew each other in prison, would have attempted to steal cocaine from a group of Surinamese. They would have been assisted by three individuals, a quadragenarian and two minors including the nephew of Youness Ibrahimi-Idrissi, reports Le Dauphiné.
Junior Brei, aged 29, would have received a bullet in the back during this attempted theft that went wrong. He died a few moments later, after being transferred to the hospital. Youness Ibrahimi-Idrissi,
