Moroccan Man Arrested at Toulouse Airport for Domestic Violence Charges

Returning from Morocco, a Moroccan residing abroad (MRE) was arrested by the Carcassonne police. The French justice system had issued a warrant for his arrest for aggravated violence against his partner and repeated death threats.
As he was getting off the plane on Saturday evening, April 6, on his return from Morocco, a 38-year-old Moroccan was far from imagining what was waiting for him. He was apprehended by the Carcassonne police. The thirty-year-old was the subject of a warrant for his arrest following acts of aggravated violence against his partner and repeated death threats, committed in November 2023 in Carcassonne, reports La Dépêche.
After his arrest, he was taken to Carcassonne. He will then be placed in police custody at the police station. After his hearing, he will be released as part of an ongoing investigation.
