Moroccan Man Arrested in Spain for Violent Assault over Mask Request

The Civil Guard arrested on Wednesday in Minorca, in the Balearic Islands, a Moroccan for assaulting in a supermarket in the town of Sant Lluís a customer who had simply asked him to wear a mask.
The 40-year-old Moroccan reacted violently and threateningly after a customer in the supermarket asked him to put on his mask. He then waited for the customer at the exit of the establishment and beat him up, before knocking him out with a bottle, reports Diario de Mallorca.
The Civil Guard and the health services, immediately alerted, went to the scene and treated the victim who received several stitches. The latter filed a complaint for assault, which allowed the Civil Guard to open an investigation and arrest the Moroccan a little later.
