Moroccan Man Arrested in Spain for Fatal Knife Attack on Woman in Suspected Domestic Violence Case

Spanish National Police agents have arrested in the Valencian town of Sagunto a 39-year-old Moroccan man, accused of slitting the throat with a knife of a 34-year-old woman, also of Moroccan origin.
The events took place on Wednesday in Sagunto, a small town in the Valencian region of Campo de Murviedro. The agents were alerted to the fall of a 13-year-old girl from the second floor of a building. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of the Moroccan woman, according to police sources cited by Ok Diario, who indicate that it could be a case of gender-based violence.
The minor, seriously injured, was transferred to the hospital. According to the same sources, she was the only person found alive in the home. The police have opened an investigation to elucidate the murder of the Moroccan woman and determine whether the girl’s fall was accidental or provoked.
