Moroccan Man Arrested in Spain for Attempted Child Abduction and Death Threats

The local police in Murcia have arrested a 35-year-old Moroccan national who allegedly threatened to kill his ex-partner and tried twice to kidnap their daughter.
The events took place just before midnight, on the terrace of a premises in El Esparragal. The Moroccan threatened to kill his ex-partner and their daughter with a firearm, according to the local police in a press release.
The accused had already tried to kidnap their daughter, despite the restraining order issued against him, his ex-wife recounts.
He failed again this time, thanks to the intervention of several people who, in response to the many calls for help from the victim, came to her rescue. Subsequently, the Moroccan fled.
After several patrols, the local police finally arrested the suspect, who was very aggressive and put up fierce resistance. However, the weapon used was not found.
