The events took place in the early afternoon of December 30, at the entrance of the NH hotel in Saragossa, reports Heraldo.
Alerted by a hotel maid, the police quickly arrived on the scene. The couple only spoke Arabic, but thanks to an employee of the establishment, also born in Morocco and who served as an interpreter, the agents were finally able to exchange with him. The woman explained to the agents that she had argued with her husband who had reproached her for the way she was dressed and made up and did not want to let her go out like that in the street.
After viewing the hotel’s surveillance camera footage, the agents were able to see how the man slapped his wife and started yelling at her after she took refuge in a corner of the hotel. The woman, for her part, did not request a restraining order against her husband, whom she would have found at the exit of the hearing.
