Moroccan Man Arrested After Video Alleges Misconduct by Gendarmerie and Judiciary

An investigation has been opened at the request of the public prosecutor’s office following the dissemination of a video attributing "illegal behavior" to members of the Justice and the Royal Gendarmerie in Meknes.
In a press release relayed by the Map, the public prosecutor’s office indicates that it has given its instructions to the National Brigade of the Royal Gendarmerie of Rabat to conduct an investigation following the dissemination on social networks of a video in which an individual accuses members of the judicial system and the Royal Gendarmerie in Meknes.
And to add that the investigation revealed that the individual in question is the subject of an ongoing trial before the investigating judge, as well as a wanted notice for his alleged involvement in acts constituting a crime.
Furthermore, according to the prosecutor, he had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital for mental disorders before escaping.
