Moroccan-Made Dacia Sandero Tops European Car Sales in Early 2025

The Spaniards have voted for the Dacia Sandero, produced in Morocco. Due to its affordable price, this car was the best-selling in Spain in 2024 and at the beginning of 2025.
With 5,173 units, the Dacia Sandero is the best-selling car in Spain and all of Europe in 2025, reports Diario Motor. Produced in three factories, including two in Morocco, the Sandero is the favorite of Spaniards due to its affordable price: less than 14,000 euros for the basic version and less than 20,000 euros for the SUV model. The Sandero measures between 4.9 and 4.10 meters depending on the versions.
The Romanian brand started its activities with a single factory, located in the city of Mioveni, Romania, until 2012. In its expansion policy, it opened two factories in Morocco, one in Casablanca and the other in Tangier. The objective is to reduce production costs and offer cars at a reasonable price.
In total, the Dacia Sandero owes its success to its low price. It is the cheapest car in the brand, which has nothing to envy to other more expensive cars in terms of performance, technology or space.
