Moroccan Lab to Launch Dual Covid-19 and Flu Test for Healthcare Facilities

A South Korean company based in Casablanca will soon produce a test that will allow the difference between the flu and Covid-19 to be made. This product will not be available in pharmacies, but in private and public health facilities.
"Combo Covid-Flu" is the name of this new tool, says Mohamed Lagzouli, CEO of Medi Global, the company in charge of its production and marketing, adding that "this test will allow laboratories and health professionals to easily distinguish between the flu and Covid-19". And Lagzouli continues: "After many months of negotiations with our partners in South Korea, we have finalized the realization of the laboratory with the equipment and materials, technology transfer from South Korea, import of raw materials for the production of tests in accordance with international standards".
This, reports SNRTnews, will relieve medical offices and hospitals generally overwhelmed as winter approaches. To note that, specifies Lagzouli, the "Combo Flu-Covid" test, which will not be available in pharmacies, but in private and public health facilities, will be performed in laboratories and hospitals, starting in early October.
