Moroccan King’s Eco-Friendly Cosmetics Brand Expands to European Markets

King Mohammed VI is the promoter of MarocMaroc, a cosmetics brand sold exclusively abroad, particularly in Paris and Amsterdam.
The King of Morocco is investing in the beauty world with his cosmetics brand MarocMaroc developed by the company Essences du Maroc. Founded in 2007, it is sold exclusively outside Morocco, according to El Debate. All the brand’s products are made from natural and sustainable ingredients. MarocMaroc is an eco-responsible brand that is marketed in Paris where it opened its first store (5 rue des Francs Bourgeois) three years ago, and recently in Amsterdam (Van Baerlestraat 38).
MarocMaroc stores offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They are designed to offer customers a unique experience where luxury merges with well-being. Better yet, King Mohammed VI’s brand offers quality products at affordable prices. For example, the cleansing and purifying Rhassoul shampoo with a creamy texture costs 25 euros, and its anti-wrinkle, nourishing, moisturizing and firming cream is sold for 85 euros.
The MarocMaroc brand is also a hit on social media. Its Instagram page has over 80,000 followers. It also has a YouTube channel in French where it shares beauty tips. The Moroccan king’s brand has also been featured in publications of some renowned magazines such as Vogue Arabia, where their products made from local ingredients like argan oil and prickly pear have been showcased.
