Moroccan King Covers Medical Costs for Renowned Amazigh Actor’s Eye Surgery
King Mohammed VI has come to the aid of the Amazigh actor, Ahmed Aouinti, by covering all the medical expenses related to his surgical operation.
According to the Alyaoum24 website, the artist suffered from diabetic retinopathy, an eye complication of diabetes, which threatened his vision without surgical intervention.
The operation took place in a private clinic in Agadir, according to the statements of the artist and his relatives, who confirmed the royal solicitude and the coverage of the related expenses.
Ahmed Aouinti expressed his gratitude to the Sovereign for his gesture, by sending him a message in English and Arabic on Facebook: "My thanks to King Mohammed VI, who covered the costs of my hospitalization. Thank you very much to the best man on earth. God bless you".
