Moroccan Journalist’s Abortion Case: Doctor’s Report Challenged as "Deliberate Lie"

The lawyer of journalist Hajar Raissouni, imprisoned for abortion, has just denounced the "deliberate lie" of the doctor who, in his report, had confirmed that there had been a voluntary termination of pregnancy. According to him, the doctor in question cannot claim such a conclusion since he had never examined the journalist.
According to the lawyer, cited by Alyaoum24, while the first medical expertise was authentic, due to the reference number mentioned in the report, the second one did not have one. He wondered how a doctor who has never examined a patient can attribute an imaginary diagnosis to her.
The lawyer did not fail to add before the Court that the doctor who signed the second report was not even present at the Hospital Center at the time when Hajar Raissouni had come there for the examination.
The site adds that the first trial of the journalist was marked by a strong influx of human rights activists and lawyers who came to plead in her favor. It received national and international media coverage.
