Moroccan Jew Fights Land Fraud: Millions at Stake in Agadir Property Scandal
A Moroccan citizen of the Jewish faith denounces the decision of the Agadir prosecutor’s office to dismiss his complaint for breach of trust, usurpation of function and threats. He accuses a person named "N.K." of having sold his land for more than 5.3 million dirhams.
On July 31, 2025, the Attorney General at the Court of First Instance in Agadir dismissed the complaint filed by the Moroccan Jew on February 24, 2025, citing "the denial of the alleged facts by the person implicated and the lack of sufficient evidence for conviction". A decision that the plaintiff named "A.J." contests. The latter had entrusted "N.K." with the supervision of the sale of a property located in the commune of Dcheira El Jihadia.
According to the documents consulted by the Al3omk website, six sales were made for a total amount of 5,318,250 dirhams. The amounts were paid into the bank account of "N.K.", who did not deign to pay a single centime to the owner. The first plot of 6,375 square meters was sold for 2,231,250 dirhams, the second of 200 square meters for 300,000 dirhams, and the third of 1,937 square meters for 1,937,000 dirhams. The plaintiff also denounces the sale, without his agreement, of a plot of 2,487 square meters at a symbolic price to the commune of Dcheira El Jihadia.
The plaintiff also mentions the sale of a plot of 827 square meters for 827,000 dirhams, and another for 23,000 dirhams. In total, more than 5.3 million dirhams in sales made in 2022. Even more serious, despite the cancellation of his power of attorney on March 15, 2023, "N.K." would have signed a new sales contract on April 28, 2023, an act that the plaintiff considers as an undue appropriation of his property.
"A.J." intends to appeal the decision of the Court of First Instance. For him, the documents he presented constitute sufficient evidence of breach of trust and abusive management of other people’s property.
