Moroccan Intelligence Agent Killed in Fatal Car Crash Near Kenitra

It was 4 o’clock in the morning on Wednesday when a car collided head-on with a street light on the road leading to Kenitra. A Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance agent died on the spot while a passenger was seriously injured.
The accident, which occurred in Zirara, 1 km from Sidi Kacem, would have been caused by a loss of control of the vehicle, most likely due to poor visibility on the road.
While the body of the DGST agent was transferred to the morgue, the injured passenger was rushed to the provincial hospital of Sidi Kacem to receive first aid.
According to Akhbarona, an investigation has been opened by the services of the Royal Gendarmerie under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
