Moroccan-Inspired Restaurant in Spain Ranks Among Nation’s Most Beautiful

The restaurant El Jardín del Califa, located in Vejer (Cádiz) and run by the Moroccan Khadija Essaadi, is one of the most beautiful in Spain, according to a ranking published by a specialized website.
The restaurant El Jardín del Califa in Vejer is the result of a collaboration between Khadija Essaadi, a Moroccan from Rabat, who is the manager and executive chef, and James Stuart, co-founder of the Califa group with Regli Álvarez, who spent his childhood in the Middle East and several years in Morocco where he worked as a mountain guide, reports La Voz Digital.
Combining their experiences, Khadija and James offer in their restaurant a wide variety of exotic dishes, prepared with the best local products. The establishment only uses free-range eggs and chicken and organic beef. The majority of the vegetables used to prepare the dishes come from gardens close to the province of Cádiz and at least 60% of them, depending on the season, are organic.
The Holidayguru site made this ranking based on the ratings given to restaurants in Spain on the Tripadvisor website by users.
