Moroccan Inmate Escapes Spanish Prison During Supervised Walk

A Moroccan in detention at the Seville-II prison escaped on Monday by simulating a foot injury during a countryside walk in the vicinity of the prison. The police are actively searching for him.
The Moroccan took advantage of this walk in the vicinity of the prison to escape, in front of the prison officials, powerless. He simulated a foot injury to divert the attention of the latter, reports Diario de Sevilla.

The prison officers claim that they should not be held responsible for this escape, as this "activity is governed by the principle of trust." According to them, it is therefore a "breach of trust" rather than an escape.
The Civil Guard and the National Police are actively searching for the fugitive. For the moment, the Moroccan has still not been located.
