Moroccan Imam Found Dead in Apparent Hanging Near Tiznit, Investigation Launched

The Imam of a mosque was found hanged on Tuesday, January 31 at his home in the Kasbat Iboudrarene douar near the city of Tiznit. An investigation is underway.
Imam of the mosque in the Tafat douar in Bounaâman for several years, a sexagenarian was found hanged inside his house located in the Kasbat Iboudrarene douar near the city of Tiznit, reports the Arabic-language site Hespress. Upon arrival, the elements of the royal gendarmerie supervised the transfer of the body to the morgue. They then opened an investigation to try to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
On the orders of the prosecutor of the king near the court of first instance of Tiznit, an autopsy will be performed on the body of the imam.
