A new factory has been inaugurated in Casablanca by Mercure industrie, a Moroccan specialist in hygiene products and solutions. Through this new investment, the company is multiplying its production capacity by 12, to 15,000 tons per year.
With an investment of 65 million dirhams, this manufacturing plant and a storage and logistics platform covering a total area of 8,000 m2 will give Mercure industrie a new strategic dimension.
This will be through its 12-fold increased capacity, allowing it to support the considerable growth experienced by the tourism, health and agri-food sectors in Morocco, according to a press release.
According to the same source, it was inaugurated in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid Elalamy, and the President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), Salaheddine Mezouar. In doing so, the company’s workforce will increase from 80 to 100 people in the next 5 years.
