Moroccan Hotel Chain Offers 2,000 Beds to Support COVID-19 Response

The Chaabi family has made its Mogador hotels available to patients and healthcare personnel as part of the fight against the spread of covid-19.
With a total capacity of around 2,000 beds, the entire Mogador Hôtels and Resorts hotel chain has been put at the service of the national effort against the coronavirus pandemic.
Through this gesture, Faouzi Chaabi, vice-president of the Ynna group, owner of the Mogador Hôtels and Resorts chain, is responding favorably to the call of the wilaya of Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima in order to support the doctors and nurses who are on the front line in the fight against coronavirus.
Thus, the Grand Mogador, a 5-star palace located on Boulevard des FAR, has been reserved for healthcare personnel. These soldiers in white coats go there to rest and spend the night, away from their families, while remaining close to the hospitals. As for Mogador Marina, 4 stars, it welcomes 20 patients infected with covid-19, not yet showing severe symptoms.
As for the catering of patients and healthcare personnel, it is provided by Newrest Rahal (Rahal group) which has committed to improving the quality of the service offered in several hospitals, particularly in Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech and Oujda.
