Moroccan Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou Sets La Liga Record with 7 Clean Sheets

Sevilla is having a good season, in part thanks to its goalkeeper, the Moroccan Yassine Bounou. The now best goalkeeper in La Liga has not conceded a single goal in 7 consecutive matches, including 4 in La Liga and 3 in the Copa del Rey.

Yassine Bounou was the main architect of Sevilla FC’s victory in the last two matches against FC Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey and against Huesca last Saturday. During these matches, the Moroccan made spectacular saves.

Last year, Bounou was one of the big winners of the Europa League. Today, he is the best goalkeeper in La Liga, with 79.69% saves, or 8 shots out of 10.
