Moroccan Goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi Eyes Move to Turkish Club After Malaga Exit

Moroccan goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi could play for the Hatayspor club in Turkey. After being laid off due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the player left Malaga like many of his teammates in search of new clubs.
Nothing is official yet but persistent rumors are already sending him to the Turkish championship, or even to a Gulf country.
In addition to Munir Mohamedi, many other players are affected by this collective dismissal. These are Luis Hernández, David Lombán, Juan Carlos, Dani Pacheco, Juanpi Añor and Adrián González, Diego Rolan. The Moroccan has the advantage of having aroused the interest of many clubs in La Liga such as Granada, Huesca and others. But he preferred to try his luck with Turkey.
At 31 years old, the goalkeeper received the Zamora trophy of La Liga Adelente, for having conceded the fewest goals in the second division championship. He also inherits the crown of the late Malaguista goalkeeper Gallardo. After Baddou Zaki, Munir is the second player of Moroccan origin in the Spanish second division to receive this award.
