Moroccan Giants Raja Casablanca Secure $550,000 Boost with Champions League Qualification

Raja de Casablanca can now breathe a sigh of relief after qualifying for the group stage of the African Champions League. The club has enough to relieve its coffers drained by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
By qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League, Raja will receive $550,000, or 5 million dirhams. This is the amount allocated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to clubs that have reached this stage of the competition. To this amount is added 1 million DH granted by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to national clubs that reach the group stage of the Champions League.
There is also the money from the transfers of Soufiane Rahimi and Ben Malango as well as the sums collected for the victories in the CAF Cup and the Mohammed VI Cup. It is a well-stocked treasury that President Rachid El Andaloussi will leave to his successor, at the end of the elective general assembly to be held on October 29.
