Moroccan-German entrepreneur to open Rabat office to help German firms invest in Morocco
The son of Moroccan immigrants in Germany, Mohammadi Akhabach helped launch Lieferheld before building a group of several companies. Honoured in Marrakech last May, the entrepreneur is now announcing a move into Rabat to support German companies looking to invest in Morocco.

Born in Morocco, Mohammadi Akhabach grew up in the Sauerland, an industrial region in western Germany, in a family of migrant workers. After training in advertising and studying communications, he began his career in marketing. In 2007, he launched his first company, a social network for associations and their members.
Two years later, he founded Beziehungsweise, an agency specializing in targeted marketing, followed by Deutsche Seniorenwerbung, which caters to consumers over 50. In 2010, he helped found Lieferheld, a German food ordering and delivery platform that later became part of the Delivery Hero group. He held marketing and sales roles there.
The entrepreneur went on to invest in a number of start-ups, particularly in tourism and home services. In 2018, he entered a new sector with AMIRA, a platform for professionals in German pharmacies.
More than 100 employees and 43,000 connected professionals
In a profile published in July by Business Insider, Mohammadi Akhabach is presented as the head of Moacon Ventures, a group employing more than 100 people and generating annual revenue in the seven figures. According to his statements, its AMIRA platform reaches more than 43,000 verified professionals in the pharmaceutical sector.
His approach is to gradually develop new businesses from existing operations, reusing contacts, data and customer communities already built up. The entrepreneur favours this organic growth over routinely turning to outside investors.
In May 2026, his achievements were recognised in Marrakech at the Trophées Marocains du Monde. He won the award in the entrepreneurship category, an honour that, he told the German press, enabled him to make new contacts with Moroccan business leaders.
Rabat, the next step in his expansion
The executive now wants to draw on his experience in Germany to develop business in Morocco. In a LinkedIn post, he announced that his group would be present in Rabat from October 1, 2026, with an office set up to help German companies establish themselves in the kingdom.
The initiative covers several sectors, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Mohammadi Akhabach cites opportunities to produce, obtain licences for and market medicines in Morocco. His goal is to help German companies find local partners and develop their activities in other African markets from Rabat.
