Moroccan Gendarme Suspended After Posting TikTok Videos in Uniform
A female gendarme serving at the Gendarmerie Brigade of Ouled Saïd, in the province of Settat, was placed under arrest by her superiors after posting videos of herself in uniform on TikTok.
In the videos the female gendarme posted on TikTok, she is seen filming herself singing and dancing in her office. A behavior strictly prohibited by military regulations. Reacting to the publications, the Regional Directorate of the Royal Gendarmerie of Settat "reminded the person concerned of the order," reports the Arabic-language daily Assabah. It also suspended the female gendarme from her duties.
In parallel, an investigation was opened to verify the authenticity of one of the videos that has been widely circulated on social networks. The video was sent to the laboratory of the Royal Gendarmerie in Rabat for expertise.
