Moroccan-French Teen Crowned Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Eyes Miss France 2024 Title
The new Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2024, who succeeded Saturday to Eve Gilles, the big winner of Miss France 2024, is Miss Villeneuve-d’Ascq, a young woman of Moroccan origin.
Sabah Aib, a beautiful 18-year-old blonde, was crowned Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2024 during the election held in Liévin, at the Arena Stade Couvert, to the applause of more than 5,300 spectators. Her presence, her naturalness, but also her commitment to family rights and the fight against harassment, convinced the jury chaired by Sylvie Tellier, Miss France 2002, and the public. "I was very happy, but also very stressed. It’s the culmination of 11 months of work," confided the one whose mother is Moroccan, moved, after receiving her crown.
The second-year law student at the University of Lille succeeds Miss France 2024, Eve Gilles, as the regional representative. She will represent the region at the Miss France 2025 election, which will be held on December 14 at Futuroscope, and will try to win the crown in turn. "I’m going to give the best of myself, both on stage and orally, for this great competition," she said again. After her coronation, she will go to Côte d’Ivoire, where the other candidates of the Miss France 2025 promotion are.
