Moroccan Football Legend Larbi Chebbak Dies at 73

The national football family is in mourning. Larbi Chebbak, former Moroccan international and midfielder of Union de Sidi Kacem, died on Thursday in Casablanca at the age of 73.
In a statement issued following the announcement of the death, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) declares that it has lost "a great name who has given so much to the discipline in Morocco", underlines a statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
In addition to having worn the national jersey on several occasions, the late Larbi Chebbak had played for several national clubs in which he demonstrated his talent and professionalism. He had also contributed to the historic victory of the Africa Cup of Nations in 1976.
Born in 1946 in Casablanca, Larbi Chebbak, like the young people of his time, started his football career with neighborhood teams, before distinguishing himself with the club of Union Sidi Othmane and wearing the jersey of Moghreb de Tétouan and Union de Sidi Kacem.
