Moroccan Football League to Hold Night Matches During Ramadan

During the Ramadan period, Botola matches will be scheduled at night.
During a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the federation members expressed their dissatisfaction with the setbacks of the current season and asked the FRMF to find a solution to complete the season in a timely manner.
For its part, the FRMF has expressed its wish to play the last day before the end of June. To this end, the Botola will continue during the month of Ramadan and the matches will be played in the evening, assured President Fouzi Lekjaâ. As for the postponed matches, they will take place during the March and April break, dedicated to the CHAN, it is explained.
In addition, Fouzi Lekjaa sought to reassure the participants about the spread of the coronavirus. According to the FRMF president, it is very likely that some matches will be held behind closed doors in the near future to avoid any spread, as has been decided in several European countries.
In addition to the issues related to the coronavirus and the schedule, the FRMF Executive Committee and the federation members also discussed the VAR and sports companies.
