Moroccan Football Federation Warns Players Over National Anthem Conduct

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has reacted to the behavior of certain players who were laughing during the performance of the national anthem before the start of the confrontation between Morocco and Guinea Bissau, last Saturday, as part of the fourth round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The behavior of these players is not to the liking of the FRMF led by Faouzi Lekjaa. It has made a point of warning them against this kind of behavior which they must no longer reproduce. It also insisted on the need to invoke the spirit of patriotism during the performance of the anthem.
The players concerned have apologized, expressing their pride in wearing and defending the Moroccan jersey. On the web, Internet users are demanding that sanctions be imposed on the players concerned, and some have even demanded their exclusion from the team.
