Moroccan Football Club Bus Attacked After Defeat in Casablanca Match

The "Rapide Club" of Oued-Zem had a very agitated evening. Following their defeat against Wydad of Casablanca, the RCOZ was attacked on their way out of the stadium.
The bus of the "Rapide Club" of Oued-Zem was pelted with stones after their match against Wydad of Casablanca. The RCOZ was defeated 2-0, thanks to goals from Aymane El Hassoune (36’) in the first half and Ismail El Haddad (90’) in the final minutes of the match.
In the same club statement providing details on these events, we learn from Noureddine El Hichami, the team’s general manager, that after dining at a hotel, the club’s bus was pelted with stones, with an attempted assault on the players with an iron bar in Berrechid. An unacceptable behavior that sowed terror among the players and the crew, deplored Noureddine El Hichami. On his Facebook page, he posted several photos of the incident.
Despite their defeat on Wednesday, Rapide Oued Zem, 10th in the standings with 33 points, retains its place in the first division of the Moroccan championship.
