Moroccan Football Chief Fouzi Lekjaa Unharmed in Rabat Car Crash

The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, was the victim of a road accident on Monday in Rabat. Fortunately, he came out of it unscathed.
The accident occurred as Lekjaa was on his way to the Mohammed VI complex, several sources say, specifying that the FRMF president is safe and sound. However, his car and the other vehicle involved in the accident suffered significant damage. The two vehicles were recovered by the maintenance and rescue services.
This accident coincides with the entry into play of the Moroccan futsal team at the World Cup in Uzbekistan against Tajikistan. A match that ended in a 4-2 victory for the Atlas Lions. With this victory, Morocco takes the lead in Group E, tied with Portugal, who beat Panama 10-1. Started on September 14, the Futsal World Cup continues until October 6. Morocco’s next match is scheduled for Thursday against Panama.
