Moroccan Filmmaker Narjiss Nejjar’s Teenage Son Killed in Tragic Car Accident

Moroccan director Narjiss Nejjar is going through painful hours. Soufiane, her only son, barely 17 years old, died in a car accident.
The sad news was published on Facebook by filmmaker Mohamed Mouftakir. The Moroccan director, famous for her first film "Les yeux secs" made in 2003, has lost her only son.
"My deepest condolences to our dear friend and colleague, Narjiss Nejjar, who has just lost her only son, Soufiane, in a terrible car accident. This young man of 18 years old. This always smiling and dynamic child who loves to challenge the adult that I am, by simulating little martial arts fights," writes the director of "l’orchestre des aveugles" (2015) and "Pégase" (2011).
