Moroccan Farmworker Faces 20-Year Sentence for Fatal Stabbing in Spain

A Moroccan seasonal worker was stabbed to death on September 3, 2019 on a farm in Ventas de Zafarraya (Granada) by another Moroccan. The prosecution has requested 20 years in prison against the latter.
The accused and the 38-year-old victim had shared a drink before the former attacked the latter with a knife about 25 centimeters long. The victim, in a state of drunkenness and unable to defend himself, was stabbed twice, which caused his death, according to Ideal.

The widow and her two children in Morocco have demanded justice and compensation for the murder of their husband and father who was supporting his family with the money he earned as a seasonal worker participating in various agricultural campaigns.
