Moroccan Families Flock to Spain’s Costa del Sol for Eid al-Adha Getaway

This year, many Moroccans have opted to celebrate Eid al-Adha outside the kingdom, setting their sights on southern Spain to enjoy its beaches and low-cost hotels.
Many Moroccans, overwhelmed by the rise in sheep and consumer goods prices, and not wishing to experience the noisy atmosphere of the Feast of Sacrifice in Morocco, have preferred to spend the Eid al-Adha weekend in southern Spain.
Thus, Moroccan families rushed to the Costa del Sol region, storming the towns of Mijas, Marbella, Malaga and Rincón de la Victoria, known for their beaches, hotels and large shopping centers. The Costa del Sol is one of the favorite destinations for Moroccan tourists due to the quality of the services offered in these seaside resorts and the competitive prices offered by the hotels.
More and more Moroccans looking for comfort prefer to leave Morocco during holiday periods. And southern Spain has become their favorite destination, no doubt because of the geographical proximity between the two countries and the promotional offers of the hotels.
