Moroccan Expat Recovers from COVID-19, Urges Compliance with Lockdown Measures

A Moroccan from Spain, cured of the new coronavirus, expressed his joy at being finally freed from this deadly virus that has killed tens of thousands around the world.
In a video shared on YouTube, the young man deplores the carelessness of some compatriots in the face of the containment instructions instituted by the Ministry of the Interior. Like many affected countries, this situation risks undermining Moroccan healthcare facilities due to the lack of human and logistical resources, he says.
The young man, who has just left the hospital in Tangier, tells Alyaoum24 that infected people are starting to be housed five in the containment rooms, while on his arrival, each patient had a room.
According to him, Morocco should accelerate the number of screenings to avoid the spread of the epidemic through the appearance of new outbreaks of contamination in the country, knowing that 80% of infected people show no symptoms.
