Moroccan Entrepreneur Turns LA Pools into $70K Monthly Gold Mine
In the United States, a Moroccan woman earns tens of thousands of dollars per month renting out her residential pool for parties and production shoots.
Rajaa Chraibi, 35, earns $22,000 per month renting out her pool located in her backyard. The good weather, the film industry, and tourism in Los Angeles motivated her to embark on this adventure in 2020, reports Talker.news. The first month, renting out her pool brings her $5,000. "My pool in the backyard at home brings in about $5,000 to $6,000 per month," she says. From that moment on, she realizes that this would be an interesting side activity. The real estate agent has acquired four other properties in Los Angeles, all with pools, which she rents out for private parties, business events, and even production companies - using the money she has earned from her side activity.
Her business is booming. "All my other pools combined bring in an average of $22,000 per month, and the maximum I’ve earned is $70,000," specifies the owner and founder of High-End Estates. She explains that she used the money to invest in other properties. "The additional income has allowed me to feel more comfortable buying more properties with pools and nice views. I don’t have to worry about mortgages or anything like that," she adds. Today, Rajaa owns five properties in Los Angeles and two in Morocco, her native country. She now has a team to clean the pool and maintain the landscaping.
