Moroccan Entrepreneur's Digital School Wins French Equality Award for Tech Training

Founded and led by Moroccan Mahjoub Bayassine, Digital France School won the trophy for equal opportunities in the training category. The award was presented by the prefect of Val d’Oise, in the Paris region.

"This trophy is the fruit of our commitment to disadvantaged people who are not found in the digital sector: people from the priority neighborhoods of the city policy (QPV, a device of the French city policy which aims to reduce the complexity of the network of socially disadvantaged areas), women far from employment, people with disabilities," explained Mahjoub Bayassine, in a statement to the MAP.

Since its creation, Digital France School has trained hundreds of people for free and is preparing to train more. "In 2021, Digital France School will train 150 people for free without a diploma, with PrépaDigital and an artificial intelligence platform in partnership with AI startups, partner universities and by mobilizing companies and 400 young people as part of the Digital Youth Program," he added.

Just this summer, 100 young people were trained in digital technology in Cergy in the Val-d’Oise department, in the Île-de-France region. The initiative will be renewed during the All Saints’ holidays in other municipalities such as Bezons, Garges, Sarcelles and Pontoise. According to the founder president of Digital France School, the goal is to help as many young people and disadvantaged people as possible.

Digital France School is a French-speaking network of inclusive schools that helps people who are looking for a job or are in the midst of a career change. The goal is to help them make their mark in the job market.
