Moroccan Engineering School Wins Gold at US Innovation Expo for Smart Maritime System

Morocco won a gold medal at the third International Salon of Inventions and Technological Innovations, All American Davinci. An edition held remotely due to Covid-19, from August 3 to 4 in the United States.
The medal was won by the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI), during a ceremony organized by Southern Utah University USA, the American Innovation and Invention Institute and the International Alliance of Innovation and Invention Associations.
According to an EMSI press release, it is an invention from the "Smartilab" research, development and innovation laboratory that was awarded. It is an intelligent connected system capable of taking and communicating maritime, meteorological or other data in real time. This network is composed of intelligent robots, each with one or more sensors to collect ecological, meteorological, military, maritime information...
This new technology makes it possible to scan large maritime areas with a view to detecting the density and movement of fish in the desired area, the same source points out.
