Moroccan Education Minister Refutes Claims of Spanish Citizenship Amid Diplomatic Tensions

Current events require, it is (almost) not in good taste to hold Spanish nationality today in Morocco. The Minister of National Education, Saaïd Amzazi, has just suffered the consequences of a fake news published by a website.
Victim of a rumor, at the height of the crisis between Morocco and Spain, the government spokesman felt the need to respond to an electronic site following the publication of information according to which he would possess the Spanish nationality.

In a clarification, the minister states that "the author claims that I have obtained Spanish nationality and misleads public opinion. I categorically deny this false information, as well as all the errors mentioned in the aforementioned article in this regard."
And to add that he reserves "the right to prosecute this media platform in court, as it is found not to be in compliance with the minimum ethics applicable to the profession, which mainly consists in verifying the authenticity of the information before publishing it".
