Moroccan Drug Trafficking Suspect Arrested in Spain After Months-Long Manhunt

Wanted by the Moroccan authorities since September 2023 for having introduced large quantities of narcotics (ecstasy) into the kingdom, a criminal was finally arrested in Algeciras. He faces a ten-year prison sentence for drug trafficking.
Under an international arrest warrant, the suspect was arrested in Algeciras, following an investigation conducted by the anti-drug unit Udyco, in collaboration with the European network Enfast. The criminal is wanted by the Moroccan authorities for having introduced large quantities of ecstasy into the kingdom, reports El Debate.
After months of investigations, the investigators managed to locate the fugitive in Algeciras. In collaboration with the local police, a device was set up to apprehend the criminal, who was then made available to the competent court in Algeciras.
