Moroccan Drug Lord Killed in Suspected Gang Rivalry Near Spanish Enclave

The Civil Guard arrested on Wednesday in the port of Algeciras the alleged perpetrator of the murder of "Tayena", a Moroccan considered by the police as the head of a drug trafficking network active in Ceuta. He would have been killed by the rival gang of "Tweety" as part of a settling of scores.
Victim of an armed attack in San Roque in the early morning of Wednesday, "Tayena", 30, died at the La Línea de la Concepción hospital, reports El Faro de Ceuta, specifying that it could be a settling of scores related to drug trafficking in Ceuta.
Tayena, of Moroccan origin, is considered the head of a drug trafficking network that is opposed to that of "Tweety", wanted and arrested for months. A Civil Guard patrol was called by the occupants of a vehicle, one of whom, Tayena, was wounded by a bullet in the abdomen, according to the armed institute.
Alerted, the health services quickly went to the scene and managed to revive the victim before transferring him to the La Línea hospital where he finally died. As for the suspect, of Maghrebi origin but holding a Spanish identity card, he confessed, claiming to have thrown the murder weapon into the sea.
