Moroccan Drug Gang Clash Halts Highway Traffic, One Arrested

Members of two Moroccan psychotropic drug mafias clashed on the highway between Kenitra and Larache last Wednesday. Terrified motorists were forced to stop on the side of the road by the violence of the scene.
Only one person was arrested during the intervention of the Royal Gendarmerie elements. It is an employee of a penitentiary institution, while the other members managed to escape, reports the newspaper Al Massae.
A wanted notice against the fugitives has been issued to the various services of the Royal Gendarmerie and the National Security. In this flight, these gangsters abandoned a large quantity of psychotropic tablets as well as a light vehicle.
Furthermore, the newspaper reports that the mobile phone of the prison guard, placed in custody on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, was subjected to technical and scientific expertise.
