Moroccan Dirham Holds Steady Against Euro, Gains Slightly on Dollar

The Moroccan currency ended the week of April 4-10 virtually stable against the euro, with a 0.05% decline according to data provided by Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).
During the same period, the dirham gained 0.2% against the US dollar, the central bank also reports, noting that no auction operation was carried out on the foreign exchange market.
Moreover, international reserves stood at 226.7 billion dirhams, down 0.3% from the previous week and down 1.8% year-on-year.
According to BAM, 73.7 billion dirhams were injected into the money market, including 71.2 billion in the form of 7-day advances, while 2.5 billion dirhams were granted to support the financing of very small and medium-sized enterprises.
