The Moroccan dirham falls against the euro
The Moroccan dirham appreciated by 0.4% against the US dollar and depreciated by 0.4% against the euro during the week of November 27 to December 3, 2025, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).
During this period, no auction operation was carried out on the foreign exchange market, the Central Bank said in its recent weekly indicator bulletin.
As for the official reserve assets, they stood at 433.3 billion dirhams (MMDH) as of November 28, up 0.2% from the previous week and 17.2% year-on-year.
On the stock market, the MASI fell by 0.9% between November 27 and December 3, bringing its annual performance to 24.4%. This decline reflects in particular declines in the indices of the "Building and construction materials" (-1.8%), "Transport services" (-2.9%), "Banks" (-0.6%), "Real estate participation and promotion" (-2.3%) and "Telecommunications" (-1.4%) sectors.
The weekly trading volume stood at 1.2 MMDH, compared to 1.5 MMDH the previous week, mainly on the central equity market.
