Moroccan dirham: slight decline against the dollar, stability confirmed against the euro

The Moroccan dirham depreciated by 0.1% against the US dollar and remained virtually stable against the euro during the week of November 20 to 26, 2025, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).

During this period, no auction operation was carried out on the foreign exchange market, the Moroccan Central Bank said in its recent weekly indicator bulletin.

The official reserve assets stood at 432.3 billion dirhams (MMDH) as of November 21, almost stagnant from the previous week and up 17.9% year-on-year.

On the interbank market, the average daily trading volume rose to 4 MMDH and the interbank rate stood at 2.25%.

On the stock market, the MASI appreciated by 1.8% from November 20 to 26, bringing its performance since the beginning of the year to 25.5%.

As for the weekly trading volume, it increased from 680.9 million dirhams to 1.5 MMDH week-on-week, mainly carried out on the central equity market.
