Moroccan Director Leïla Marrakchi Tapped for Netflix’s Jazz Drama "The Eddy"

The series "The Eddy", a major Netflix production that will be broadcast in April 2020, will call on Moroccan director Leila Marrakchi to direct an episode of the series.
The director of the film "Marock" (2005) will direct a flagship episode of the series that traces the life of an acting couple: Leila Bekhti and Tahar Rahim. While the man plays the role of the co-owner of a Parisian jazz club, the woman, Leila Bekhti, plays the role of his partner. A synopsis that will no doubt delight fans of hit series.
Several other actors, and not the least, are to be found in this episode, namely, the American André Holland (Moonlight), in the role of the pianist Elliot Udo, alongside Amandla Stenberg who plays his daughter.
In addition, Joanna Kulig, revealed in "Cold War", plays the role of the star singer of this jazz club, under the direction of filmmaker Damien Chazelle.
