Moroccan Director’s New Film Unites Jewish DJ and Imam in EDM Comedy

After the action film "Redemption Day", Moroccan filmmaker Hicham Hajji is working on a new production project with South African DJ and producer, Nkosinathi Maphumulo, alias DJ Black Coffee. It is a feature film entitled "God is a DJ".
The film is "a comedy set in the world of electronic music, with the mission of uniting the world. With a minority cast, the film aims to bring this niche music to the world through the minorities who understand it," describes the Moroccan filmmaker, Hicham Hajji. "God is a DJ" features a young Jewish man and a Moroccan imam "who team up to form the most unlikely masked DJ duo - together, the two overcome their mutual distrust to take on the EDM (electronic dance music) club circuit".
This feature film will be produced by the Grammy-nominated South African DJ and producer, Nkosinathi Maphumulo alias Black Coffee. He is known for his collaborations with music stars, Drake, Pharrell Williams, Usher and David Guetta.
