Moroccan Diaspora Remittances Surge 6% to 47 Billion Dirhams in First Half of 2022

As of the end of June 2022, Moroccans living abroad Moroccans residing abroad transferred 2.7 billion dirhams more than the same period in 2021, an increase of 6%.
Just during the month of June, the remittances made by Moroccans living abroad reached a record amount of 8.7 billion dirhams. For the first six months of 2022, they sent 47 billion dirhams compared to 44.33 at the end of June 2021.
According to the same source, if 2021 was a flourishing year in terms of remittances, 2022 could be even more so.
