Morocco’s Highway Operator Reports 10% Revenue Surge in First Half of 2022

As of the end of June 2022, Moroccan Motorways (ADM) recorded nearly 2 billion dirhams in revenue, up 10% compared to the same period in 2019, according to quarterly indicators.
This increase in revenue is due to a 9% improvement in revenue from operations and an increase in traffic on the motorway network. In addition to financial income, social revenue amounted to nearly 1.57 billion dirhams at the end of June, compared to 1.44 billion a year earlier.
Regarding gross investments, ADM points out that they amounted, in the first half of 2022, to 344 million dirhams (MDH), compared to 388 MDH recorded in 2021 over the same period.
As for the work to triple the Casablanca bypass and that of Casablanca-Berrechid, the social balance sheet shows a cumulative investment (net of depreciation) of 68.61 billion dirhams at the end of June 2022. As for the consolidated debt at the end of June 2022, it decreased by 3% compared to 2021.
