Moroccan Diaspora Raises $97,000 for Girl’s Brain Tumor Treatment in Germany

Moroccans living in Germany have made a donation for the benefit of a Moroccan girl suffering from a brain tumor. This donation will cover the operation and travel expenses.
Moroccans living abroad have made an act of generosity. They have mobilized an amount of 970,000 DH to allow Maroua, a young girl suffering from a brain tumor, to undergo a vital operation as well as to rent a private jet. Last Saturday, a flight departed from Nador-Al Aroui airport for Germany with a stopover in Spain.
This donation follows an online fundraising campaign launched by the girl’s father, reports 2M. He had just discovered the seriousness of Maroua’s illness following a medical consultation with an ophthalmologist. The latter recommended specific tests, which showed that the child had a malignant brain tumor. Hence the need for a vital operation for the young girl.
