Known for her commitment to promoting the Moroccan caftan, Moroccan designer Fatima-Zahra Al-Filali Al-Idrisi represented the kingdom at Milan Fashion Week on Sunday, February 26.
It was in a large exhibition hall of the Palazzo Barozzi in Milan that Fatima-Zahra Al-Filali Al-Idrisi had models parade wearing the Moroccan caftan. She presented "an elegant collection of 15 caftans created exclusively for the event" with the contribution of about thirty artisans and designers.
"The caftans stood out for their innovative designs, luxurious textures, vibrant colors, as well as their embroidery and gemstone ornamentation, which gave them an artistic and historical aspect while looking to the future," the designer notes.
The Moroccan designer took advantage of this event, which was attended by important personalities from the fashion world, to launch her brand. All this in a warm atmosphere lulled by musical rhythms inspired by the Moroccan artistic repertoire, such as Gnawa, Andalusian, as well as Sahrawi and Amazigh rhythms. According to the designer, the "Fatim" collection was created with a unique vision, that of "preserving the honor of the Moroccan caftan while adding creative touches inspired by the latest contemporary fashion trends".
